One Nation, Under….Somebody Else?
A few years ago, the public schools were talking about taking out the verse
“One Nation
Under God
With Liberty & Justice
For All”
From the Pledge Of Allegiance. I believe they were thinking about doing it because it was offending either religious, or athiests, or both I assume. My question isn’t though, why would they make this into such a big deal. MY question is what would they have put in place of that? If they took out “under god”, it would sound something like:
“One Nation
With Liberty & Justice
For All”.
Sounds kinda retarded doesn’t it? I just think that they should keep it the way it was, and I believe they did. But what WERE they going to put there? Under President Clinton? Under Our Law? Under Hitler? WHAT?! I never found out and it’ll be one of those mystery’s of life.
Just like how “American Idol” became so god damn popular.
