I have a theory that everybody is an actor. Now let me explain my flawless theory, so you can nod you head, agree, and we can go grab lunch.
Basically, my theory is this:
When you first meet somebody, they will generally act kind, respectful, hold out their hand to shake yours, and smile, saying how “great it is to finally meet you”. This is a lie. This is not who this person really is. They don’t know you, so how could they possibly be so nice to you? People ARE NOT nice. Therefore, this man is acting. Clerks at grocery stores, and other stores who help you no matter how damn frustrating and irritating you are proving yourself to be will always keep a smile on their face as they ask you, “Well how about THIS one?” This person is acting as well. Again, they don’t know you, so how could they like you THAT much?
Even your friends, parents and relatives are actors and actresses. I have, for a fact, aunts and other people in my family who DESPISE and LOATH me with every fiber of their being. Yet, every year, not because it’s the right thing to do but because they wanna keep up appearances, will send me a birthday card, money and occasionally a gift. This is acting. Everybody acts.
Everybody is an actor.
