So yesterday there was an unmentioned code red at our school, which for those who don’t know, is when there may be someone with a weapon on campus. Briana and I were both certain it wasn’t a drill, since she’d be the first one to know and the didn’t do one in the AM class. Ultimately of course it ended up being a drill. I read somewhere that school shootings are rare happenings. And as with everything I read-as everyone should do-I questioned it immediately. If they’re such rare happenings, how come so many have happened? In fact, because I’m such a damn good blogger, I did my research, and check this shit out.
Yeah, so I took a screencap of this list, and this was only in NORTH AMERICA USA. Canada has it’s OWN list! I don’t know about YOU, but this does not look like a rare happening to me. It’s actually the friggin’ opposite, because according to what I’m seeing by this image, this sort of thing seems to happen a LOT. They also always say that it’s because the kids are teased or made a victim, so they feel disempowered. So they come back and make everyone ELSE feel like the victim. Everyone of these kids is apparently a geek that got his ass shoved in a locker. Doesn’t anybody just kill anyone for the sake of murder anymore? They all have to have a f*cking reason now. How about a kid who didn’t like the hot lunch. He gets to Friday and it’s supposed to be Pizza, but the guy right before him gets the last piece, and so he’s stuck eating shitty chicken. Don’t know if poultry is a good enough reason for murder, but whatever. School shootings happen a lot more often than you’d think, that’s all I’m saying.
Don’t try and pretend it’s not some small rare happening, ’cause it’s not. Believe me, if school shootings are rare, than so is having babies.
