Today is Oct. 31st, Halloween.
I AM going trick or treating. I’m 19 but I’m still going trick or treating, because unlike most of the kids my age who go trick or treating, I will actually be dressed up. I think it’s part of my “Keeping The Youth” theory. Keeping The Youth theory is the theory based upon the idea of keeping things that are youthful around you, so you never lose that childish playful side of yourself as you grow older. It’s one of the reasons I surround myself with such younger girls. I’m talking 15-17 year olds. Because these are girls who are still fun loving and laugh and play games, so they’re still very energetic and youthful. Such is Halloween. It’s another reason why I will-rarely, but I will-watch Cartoons. The keeping the youth theory isn’t to make myself youthful, but it does allow myself to talk to people who ARE youthful without sounding like a bitter old coot.
Many people try and keep the youth by going to the gym, or eating well, but I believe the only true way is to surround yourself with youthful things and youthful people. That way, they keep that youthful side of you alive and kicking.
I love my theories. I should be a philosopher.
