There Are People Starving In Africa!!!
I listen to people argue ALL the time. Seriously, it’s like a hobby. And the one I hate is when someone says something bad is happening to them.
They’ll say like, “Ugh, man, my grandmother just WON’T stop coming onto me!”
And the other person will reply with, “Dude, why are YOU complaining?! There are people STARVING in Africa!”
God damnit, I am sick and tired of this fucking cliche. Yes, we all know about the people starving in Africa, we’ve read about them, seen documentaries about them, and sent 5 cents a week to the children so they can go to school. But I’ll be damned if I’m gonna sit here and let you tell me one more time that there are PEOPLE fucking STARVING in fucking AFRICA!!!
Let’s start off with this. How about the people who are starving IN YOUR FUCKING HOMETOWN?! Huh, how about the people downtown, the hobos you never give change to!? Well you always say, “Oh they should get jobs!”
Ok, so tell that to the people in Africa. Get your sorry ass on a plane, fly to Africa and say, “You guys should get jobs!”. Then come back to America, sit on your fat ass, and watch more god damned reality TV. I’m sick of hearing about people we should help halfway across the WORLD when there’s people you could help in your own COMMUNITY! For christs sakes, IN YOUR OWN HOME!
I swear, some people don’t even take care of their family. They can’t. They’re too busy helping Africa. Trying to stop the famine. Meanwhile, because Miss Perfect Mother is trying to fix a different part of the world and destroy famine, her family starves to death because she won’t cook dinner! Stop telling me about Africa. I know it exists. I know the people there are in trouble and need help, but god DAMNIT, there are people right outside your HOUSE on the STREET who need your help! In closing, I have this to say:
The next time somebody tells me, “Why are you so depressed and miserable, there are people STARVING in Africa!” I’m going to take that person, and I am going to take them to Africa, and I am going to tie them to a stake in a field and watch lions eat them alive.

You are a crazy nut! I see the starving, homeless people here in the USA, but they are LOOSERS who got there because they dropped out of school, became drug addicts, or MADE SOME OTHER CHOICE. It is THEIR fault!!! They should just commit suicide. (I would if I were one of them). The starving people in Africa or other poor parts of the world are that way because of things they can not control, like drought, no economy, war, etc.

Definitely! You have sympathy for these people? Why should I care for a begger unless her/she is handicapped? They should get off their butts, go to the unemployment center and get a job doing SOMETHING! There are so many jobs available, especially low level jobs, but they have just given up and don’t even try (or simply didn’t even try right from the start). Some of these people taking handouts on the street make a steady income from all the money they collect. It is disgraceful. You say that you don’t care about the “PEOPLE fucking STARVING in fucking AFRICA”. That is what’s sad!

I NEVER said I don’t care about the people staving in Africa. You ever learn to comprehend what you read, you’ll notice I said I’m sick of the people who COMPLAIN about the people starving in Africa when there are people they could help who live right in their neighborhood.
I totally agree if the people are just beggers. Don’t get me wrong, maybe I should’ve been more specific. Yes, beggers SHOULD get jobs. The people I’M talking about helping in our own homeland ARE the vets who are handicapped and got fucked by our government (ya know, the one they DEFENDED) and the like. Maybe I just wasn’t specific enough.
Anyway, I don’t have time to write a whole novel here, so let’s just leave it at that.
