There are two different sources of news.
Media and Bloggers. I just googled “swine flu is bullshit” into google, to see what would come up. The entire first page is composed of people saying it’s bullshit, but on BLOGGING websites. I’ve noticed that the media are always sound bites for the press. They’re small tabloid 30 second spots that don’t give ANY full coverage. It’s one “we’re all doomed” sentence after another. Meanwhile, the bloggers always give out full, logical stories, with serious claims and facts. May not be quotes from doctors or other people in “high” places of power, but we have to remember, just because something is said from a person in a high place of power…DOESN’T MAKE IT TRUE.
It’s us against them. Me against you. And for some weird reason (maybe it’s because it’s HONEST) the bloggers ALWAYS make more sense than the media does. I’m not one to say that the media is wrong 100% of the time, but name one time where they’ve been 100% RIGHT. I mean, my entries may not always be perfectly written with exact grammar and punctuation, but it’s because my mind works at such a racing speed and I need to get it all down.
BUT, my entries are ALWAYS more factually based and honest, and THAT’S more than you’ll get from a media report.
