Jello For Jesus
I love eating food.
I am one of those people who can’t get fat even if I TRY. And I HAVE tried. But it was only to see if I COULD. I have a fast metabolism and good genes, so I’m pretty well set on never being obese, but I DO have a problem with food and that’s that some of it makes me SICK. I had mexican two nights ago, then chinese last night and then a fast food burger this morning. I started to think about it, and realized sometimes food is just fucking NASTY. Mexican food makes you shit, Chinese food makes you hungry and American food makes you DIE.
I stopped pretty much eating fast food just because it didn’t make me feel to wonderful, but I still eat it every now and then. I do however drink a LOT of soda (trying to cut that out as well), but I hardly ever ear Chocolate or sweets or anything. I also eat a LOT of meat. Steaks, Porkchops, Chicken. For god sakes, I’ve even eaten Squirrel. I’ve eaten everything, but I don’t just dabble in the meat section of the food chain, I also hob knob with the veggies and the fruits. Yes, hip food lingo. You know you love me. I eat a LOT of Apples, and other sorts. But here’s the thing. Food depends on the person. Everyone’s tastebuds are different, so even if you love one thing, someone else may just DESPISE it. But here’s the ULTIMATE thing I learned the other day.
Church going people will be devout, devoted, they’ll be some other D word I don’t even KNOW. They will generally give money to any charity, church or anything else they have to give money to, but they’ll only give as much as they can. That’s not being financially smart, that’s called being CHEAP. These people claim to be moral and care about third world children starving but won’t send ALL their money. Sending only as much as one can afford to isn’t an argument, it’s an EXCUSE. As long as there are starving children in the world, you can’t have money in the back and still call yourself moral. They don’t care about these children, why? Because they’re not THEIR children!
Well what about no child left behind? What happened to every child is special? If every child is special, then how the HELL do these people consider themselves moral and say they care if they spend money on a brand new car and NOT send more money to those who need FOOD…NOT an automobile?! So what do these church people do instead of spending money on food for these starving in Africa? I’ll TELL you what they do, they spend their money on missions for these people because they don’t believe in GOD! They set up these missions in Africa with these priests and nuns to teach the African natives about God, and why if they believe in God, they will be saved and their sins will be absolved.
Folks, I’m sorry to have to tell you this, but absolving your sins doesn’t keep you from STARVING TO FUCKING DEATH!

One could argue that the morals and values contained within the Bible are conducive to societal betterment and improving overall conditions. If there’s a better world that comes after this one, living a pious life in utmost poverty would seem slightly better by comparison.
Or one could also argue that the aid we send is not being used properly, as families continue to have more children than they can possibly support. If the demand outstrips the supply, people are going to starve, and it is no one’s fault but the families who had them in the first place.
But, frankly, I think both of those arguments are pretty lame, especially since some of the people who claim to be impartial and equal will donate a pittance to charity but then turn around and drop a couple grand for their kid’s 16th birthday party.
