Rational Decisions

There’s a claim that says “teenagers brains are not fully developed until well into their 20’s and therefore they are unable to make rational decisions regarding sex or any other sort of item”. It’s bullshit and I can prove it with my usual flawless logic.

First of all, teenagers-as much as I hate the little fuckers-ARE capable of making rational decisions. The reason I say this is because first off, they make rational decisions everyday. See, teenagers decide whether they want to drink or smoke or not. Peer pressure does not exist, alright? Peer pressure was something invented by teachers and politicians to scare parents into “protecting” their children and making them believe they were in “danger”. Peer pressure does not exist. A kid decides to smoke because they want to, or not smoke, drink or not drink, whatever. One kid decides rationally they want to take Band Class while two other boys decide that FootBall is the way to go. Easy. Easy to make. What people mean when they say “Rational Decisions” and that teens aren’t able to make them, they are REALLY saying, “Teenagers brains are not fully developed until well into their 20’s and therefore they are unable to make rational decisions about things WE DISAGREE WITH”. The only rational decisions these people seem to have a problem with are the ones they disagree with. If a kid decides to start studying and get all A+ then that’s called a rational decision and they reward him. If a teen couple decides to have sex that’s suddenly something they can’t make a rational decision about. Well no, that’s bullshit. Generally kids learn about STD’s and learn about the complications of sex and about pregnancy and still go ahead. Granted there are those who don’t, but whatever. But if this couple decides to have sex, it’s suddenly a rational decision they weren’t developed enough yet to make because the parents DISAGREE with it.

Plus, even adults don’t make rational decisions! Adults make irrational decisions every DAY! Some guy gets depressed, meets another girl and cheats on his wife. His reasons behind it don’t matter either because marriage and monogamy basically imply that you only love ONE woman and you promise to be with THAT one woman. No, you can have feelings for the other woman but as long as you don’t act on them, it’s all good. But this guy decides to cheat. What’s his fucking rational decision behind that idea? Fuck, I’ve seen kids who’ve made better rational decisions than adults have! In fact, adults commit worse crimes than children do! Who’s the last teenager you heard of that raped the 7 year old boy they were babysitting? Exactly! Adults commit worse crimes with no rational decisions behind them! See, I’m tired of being told that I made a “wrong decision”. People sometimes tell me, “You made a wrong decision when you did that.” No, I didn’t. The only wrong decision that was made was the decision I made that YOU don’t agree with. I could choose between two careers and what college to go to for them. I could choose between say being a Doctor or being a Journalist. I could pick which one and I would pick the one that best suits ME and MY needs. But then someone comes along and tells me, “Well you know, you shouldn’t have picked Journalist, they make way less money, you made the wrong decision.” No, I made the right decision for ME, it was only “wrong” in YOUR eyes, cocksucker.

Altogether, it comes down to one basic rule which is “do what makes sense to YOU”. That’s all you can do in this world. You wanna murder, go ahead if it makes sense to YOU. But believe me, it’s not going to make as much sense to the person you murder or everyone involved.
